Acorn's Commitment to Service

It's important to all of us at Acorn Painting to make a positive difference in the world, starting with our neighbors. We wouldn't be able to do the work we do without our valued clients and vendors, and we're grateful to be able to work in the various communities and towns of the Champlain Valley. We benefit from the strength of our communities, and make a conscious effort to contribute to that strength through service.

We donate our dollars, time, and skills to various worthy causes and organizations throughout the Champlain Valley - if your group could use a helping hand, let us know.

Financial Contributions:

We donate 10% of our profits to local charitable organizations. Since 2020, Acorn Painting has contributed to the following organizations:

  • Lewis Creek Association

  • Turning Point Center of Addison County

  • United Way of Addison County

  • H.O.P.E. - Helping Overcome Poverty's Effects

  • Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont

  • Local Fire & Rescue Organizations

  • Other Local Charities on a case-by-case basis

Service Projects:

  • Painting at the Charlotte Senior Center: Mike and the crew spent some time this winter doing interior painting at the center, and have plans to tackle more extensive exterior work in the spring. 

  • Painting at H.O.P.E. - Helping Overcome Poverty's Effects - Hannah and Brandon spent some time sprucing up the hallways at HOPE with a new coat of paint. ​

We love our community and we're honored to contribute to its vitality!
